Our Story

At just nine years old, Kingston already knew he wanted to make a difference in the world around him.

Children for Change is a youth-led nonprofit founded by Kingston Marley, inspired by his grandfather’s One Love legacy. Built on the belief that every child deserves a chance, we’re breaking barriers and building brighter futures for underserved youth in Jamaica.

What began as Kingston’s response to seeing his peers go without school books has grown into a movement. Alongside his younger sister Kalani, he’s helping to empower the next generation through education, opportunity, and action—carrying forward a legacy of love, unity, and justice.

In Jamaica, something as simple as a textbook can be the difference between staying in school or falling behind. That’s why we provide textbooks to every student at a school—so every child has the same opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive.

We know education is more than academics—it’s empowerment, confidence, and the key to lasting change. When kids feel supported and equipped to learn, they don’t just imagine change—they become it.

Through strong partnerships and a shared commitment to youth, we’re building a culture of resilience and purpose. At Children for Change, we’re not just handing out workbooks—we’re helping the next generation rise.

The greatness of a man is not in how much wealth he acquires but in his integrity and ability to affect those around him positively. -Bob Marley

Vision + Mission

We envision a Jamaica where education is a right, not a privilege—where every child, no matter their background, has the tools, support + opportunity to thrive, succeed, and uplift their community and country.

Our mission is to educate, elevate + empower the youth of Jamaica by creating equitable opportunities for a brighter future. We’re committed to breaking down educational barriers so every child has the chance to learn, grow + thrive.
